Action barely picked up on Monday as the NHL had 3 games on tap. Let us look at the handful of Former Islander contributions from a slow night:
* For the 2nd straight game Mark Parrish scored the lone Minnesota goal as the Wild fell to the host Dallas Stars 3-1. Parrish has scored goals in 4 straight games and has 12 goals and 7 assists for 19 points on 39 games this season. He also has points in 6 consecutive games with 5 goals and 1 assist. This is the first time Parrish has scored goal in 4 straight games since March 25-31, 2004 when he was with the Isles.
* Ducks' defenseman Mathieu Schneider assisted on the 2nd team goal as Anaheim beat the visiting Nashville Predators 5-2. Schneider snapped a 7 game point-less streak. He now has 18 points (5 goals, 13 assists) on 30 games. Todd Bertuzzi assisted on the final goal. Bert has 16 points (6 goals, 10 assists) on 31 games.
