With only 1 game on the schedule on Monday night there were no Former Islander happenings to report. On the good side, though, the Pittsburgh Penguins downed the visiting New York Rangers 4-1. Evgeni Malkin recorded his 2nd hat trick in 11 days to lead the Pens over the hated Blueshirts.
