Slow night for FIW as 6 games were played with Former Islanders accounting for no points. In fact there was only one noteworthy FI event of the night and that was:

• Roberto Luongo stopped 25 of 26 shots in Vancouver's 2-1 road win over San Jose in OT. Luongo is now the Canucks' single season wins leader with 39 (and counting). If the season ended on Friday, Luongo would finish 20 games over .500 (39-19-4), 15 wins better than his 35-30-9 record from last year.
