Sixteen teams were in motion in 8 high octane games around the NHL. Battling for important standings positioning teams are looking to make that final push into the playoffs. Former Islanders are helping their respective teams out where they can. Let us look at the FI happenings from a busy Thursday night:

* Center Derek Armstrong assisted on Los Angeles' first goal as the Kings routed the host Nashville Predators 4-1. For the 5th straight season Armstrong has recorded 30+ points, all of them since joining the Kings during the 2002-03 season.
