It was a considerable slow down on Sunday night as only 2 games were on tap. With no hope for a 17 point Former Islander night, all was not lost. FIs accounted for a win in net and a goal. Here is the recap:
* Chris Osgood improved to 2-0-0 as he stopped 27 of 28 shots in Detroit's 4-1 win over the host Los Angeles Kings. The Redwings goaltender should be remained Chris "Sogood" considering he has not lost in regulation for almost the entire calendar year of 2007. Osgood has not had a regulation loss since January 6. Since then he has gone an impressive 9-0-5.
* Mark Parrish scored the insurance goal, his first of the season, in Minnesota's 2-0 win over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center on Sunday. Since coming to his home state, Parrish has been an enigma. This was his first point in 5 games and continues a cycle of disappoint stemming back to last season when the highly touted forward scored only 39 points in 76 games.
