Three more games were on the NHL schedule on Monday night. Let us peruse the single game Former Islander happenings in which they scored 4 assists:
* A flurry of FIs were in play as the Washington Capitals tore down the host Toronto Maple Leafs 7-1. Jason Blake had an assist on the lone Toronto goal. Blake has notched 13 points (2 goals, 11 assists) in as many games this season. It seems that Blake's potential as a setup man has really paid off so far this season for the Leafs. Viktor Kozlov had 2 assists, 1 on the man advantage, game winner, to help fortify the Caps onslaught. With 4 points (all assists) in the last 4 games, Kozlov's numbers have improved. Kozzer has 7 points (2 goals, 5 assists) on 11 games. Defenseman John Erskine had a shorthanded assist on the game as well. It was the second assist in as many games for Erskine who now has 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) on 8 games this season. The shorthanded assist was Erskine's first since December 11 of last year.
