It was deuces wild on Monday night as 4 teams battled in only 2 games around the NHL. There was only 1 Former Islander happening of note. Let us take a look:
Detroit goaltender Chris Osgood suffered his first regulation loss in the last 17 starts as the Red Wings were edged by the visiting Colorado Avalanche 3-2. Ozzie stopped 24 of 27 shots faced but the offense was not enough as he dropped to 12-2-4 on the season. After starting the 1st game of the season with a loss Osgood went 12-0-4 over the next 9 weeks despite surprisingly poor statistics. Ozzie is sporting a 3.19 goals against average and an .876 save percentage. He had won his last 4 starts dating back to November 28.
