There were only 2 games up for grabs on Sunday. Former Islanders only made the difference in 1 of those competitions. Let us take a quick look at the slow Sunday around the league:
Vancouver goaltender could not do enough to help his team win as the Chicago Blackhawks doubled up on the visiting Canucks for a 4-2 win. Luongo stopped 22 of 26 shots dropping his record to 3-2-0 on the season. He currently has very un-Luongo-like numbers with a bloated 3.40 goals against average and a paltry .886 save percentage. After starting the season off with a shutout things have taken a downturn for the Canucks' captain including surrendering 4+ goals in 3 of his last 4 starts.
