Allan Rourke
Defensive prospect Allan Rourke was traded by the Islanders today with a 2008 Draft 3rd Round pick to Edmonton in exchange for a 2008 2nd Round pick. The 2008 Draft is already believed to be full of potential big name talent. Rourke never really settled in with the Islander organization. In 17 games over the last 2 seasons, Rourke had 0 goals and 2 assists adding only 4 penalty minutes to his stats. After being drafted in 1998 by the Toronto Maple Leafs he eventually found his way to Carolina for the 2003-04 season. On his career, Rourke has played in 42 NHL games with 1 goal, 4 assists and 26 penalty minutes.
