Alain Nasreddine

Having made it onto last week's Top 10 Remaining FIs, Alain Nasreddine has found at least one more year of pro work with the Pittsburgh Penguins signing a 1 year contract on Monday. In 44 games last season, taking over for the injured Eric Cairns, Nasreddine notched 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) and only 18 penalty minutes. With a +12 rating, Nasreddine finished second on the team. A professional minor leaguer, the 32 year old Nasreddine has played only 68 career games tallying all of his points this past year. Aside from the Isles and Pens, Nasreddine has seen playing time with the Blackhawks and Canadiens. Financial terms of the deal have yet to be released.
