Roberto Luongo Injured

As of yesterday (December 11), Roberto Luongo has been labeled as day-to-day with a rib injury. The Vancouver Canucks' goaltender, who was a finalist for the Vezina Trophy last season, took a puck to the ribs in a game against the Minnesota Wild on the December 2. The puck for a gap between his padding. The extent of the injury is not currently known but Luongo will sit while backup goalie Curtis Sanford attempts to helm the ship in the meantime.
