Friday April 13

With 3 games in contention on Friday little happened for Former Islanders. Only one player had an impact. In the other two games the Nashville Predators evened their series with the San Jose Sharks on the heals of a 5-2 home win and the Anaheim Ducks edged the Minnesota Wild for the second straight game by a goal, 3-2, to grab a 2-0 series lead. Here is a look at the other game:
  • Following his impressive playoff debut, Roberto Luongo took the loss in the Dallas Stars' 2-0 road win over the Vancouver Canucks. The win evened the series at 1 game a piece. Luongo stopped 25 of 27 shots but his team's complete lack of ability to generate any offense led him to suffer him first playoff loss.

Saturday night was abuzz with 4 highly charged games. Check back soon for the most current playoff updates.
