The Edmonton Oilers have placed defenseman Denis Grebeshkov on the Injured Reserve list retroactive to November 1 after he suffered an "undisclosed injury" on a hit in the Oils' game against the host Carolina Hurricanes that night. The injury, as reported by other sources, appears to be a "mild" concussion. Greb was off to a good start this season with 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) on 10 games although he had not recorded a point in his last 3 starts. We wish Denis the best and hope he gets better soon!
